Applications are Now Open for GGGI’s 2023 Pacific Greenpreneurs Incubator Program

22 March 2023 - Suva, FijiGlobal Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is pleased to announce the launch of the call for applications for the 2023 Pacific Greenpreneurs Incubator Program, a key activity under the Pacific Green Entrepreneurs Network which is funded by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) to support and promote sustainable early-stage enterprises in Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu. The program will offer a comprehensive 12-module incubator program to selected early-stage enterprises, which includes participating in local workshops, regional training, mentoring, coaching, and networking. The Incubator program will culminate in a Business Plan Competition which provides selected enterprises with a chance to win one of 20 USD5,000 seed grants to grow their green businesses.

The Pacific region is home to a diverse range of natural resources and ecosystems, making it a critical region to promote sustainable development. The Pacific Greenpreneurs Incubator Program supports entrepreneurs who are creating innovative solutions that promote sustainability in the region.

"To date we have supported 146 green enterprises across six countries, of which 63% are women-led and 60% are youth-led enterprises. We believe that the Pacific Greenpreneurs Incubator Program plays an important role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the Pacific region," said Esther Bates – Project Manager of, the Pacific Green Entrepreneur Network. "We are looking forward to working with the selected 2023 early-stage enterprises to scale up the impact of their solutions on the region and the world."

The Pacific Greenpreneurs Incubator Program is open to early-stage enterprises operating in Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, and Vanuatu that are working on sustainable solutions. Women, youth, persons with disabilities and teams of green enterprises are encouraged to apply.
